In order to give you appropriate advice, I need to thoroughly understand your financial position.


Prior to our meeting, it helps to gather the necessary information together so that we can make the best use of our time together.

During your initial meeting, we will be gathering information from you about your current financial position and helping you clarify where you would like to get to. This is also an opportunity for you to get to know your financial adviser and confirm that you are happy to work with him/her.

Using the information gathered during your discovery meeting, your financial advisor will complete an analysis to determine what (if any) advice/guidance/training you require to reach your goals and he/she will prepare an estimate of costs for that advice.

Your adviser will meet with you again to confirm your advice/guidance/training requirements and the estimate of costs. If you are happy to proceed, you will sign the Terms of Engagement.

Your financial adviser will prepare a Statement of Advice detailing his/her recommendations in key areas of advice identified in the analysis.

Your financial adviser will explain his/her recommendations in detail and together you will decide on the best approach.

This is where your financial advisor will arrange for implementation of the recommendations. That is, putting it all into place.


It may take some time to complete, depending on the degree of complexity and your personal requirements.

It is important to keep your financial affairs up to date.


You and your financial adviser will determine how frequently a review is required at the plan presentation meeting.


The review sessions will take into account your changed circumstances and any changes to legislation, the market etc. The review can be tailored to fit with your requirements.
